Just a brief overview of the specifications tells me that one of the major differences between the DVPFX950 and the DVPFX930 is battery life. The DVPFX950 boasts a seven and one half hour battery life versus the six hour battery life of the DVPFX930. Another difference is that the DVPFX950 only comes in black, while its predecessor came in five different colors. The last detectable difference between the two models is the addition of a USB port on the DVPFX950. This allows for playback of photos, audio files and video files from a USB device such as an external hard drive.
The DVPFX950 sports and 180 degree turning 9" lcd screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 and a widescreen aspect ratio. The bezel around the lcd screen has the DVD player controls neatly incorporated so that the unit can be controlled regardless of the direction the screen is facing.
